MobileRead Forums - View Single Post - Downloaded metadata does not show in book

I am far from being an expert, but there is a lot going wrong there:
Failed to open Book
Failed to load 2 Plugins
failed worker.

I would Uninstall Calibre. Check the Calibre folder in Program files (should be empty or gone) Then reinstall from a fresh download.
