While an 8” Oasis with USB-C and wireless charging and 5GHz WiFi is the minimum what they would need to produce in order to justify keeping an Oasis in the lineup. Oasis sales are probably already getting cannibalized because the PW5 has some features that it lacks.
That said, we won’t see it until next year; Amazon is going to want to crunch the numbers after the first few months of PW5 sales. If Oasis sales tank, does it mean the form factor (including buttons) don’t have appeal? Or that everybody that wanted one already has one, and is waiting for something that qualifies as a clear improvement (which the PW5 is not).
