Use FontForge and open both of the font files. Go to font info and look at the name fields.
Make sure that:
1) Regular font has name “Capita”, type “Regular”, family “Capita”;
2) Italics font has name “Capita Italics”, type “Italics”, family “Capita”.
If the font copyright allows, you should be able to modify these fields if needed.
