The sleep cover is bulky and heavy, but not noticeably so when just carrying it around. I always use the sleep cover when I'm traveling. But if I'm just at home reading, sometimes I remove it so I don't have to hold it up for hours.

I haven't used it with Wiktionary, the internal dictionaries it comes with are pretty good. And if you don't like those, there are open source ones available that are pretty easy to add to supplement the internal ones.
Wikipedia can be used with the internal browser. As others have said, the browser is pretty klunky, but it is good enough to do a quick read, and then bookmark it to pocket if you want to do more extensive reading.
I strongly recommend you set up a pocket account once you get your kobo. Reading wikipedia with pocket on the kobo is great!
