Mine can do it if I press a very specific spot.
That's something that does not surprise me about a Kobo e-reader. Few years ago when I was sure I would chose the Kobo Glo HD over the Voyage, having it in my hands put me off. It made a lot of noise like this and didn't feel as sturdy as the Voyage (Not the same budget neither)
