As a(n amateur) developper, I should have read the log, I should have verified if a newer version existed...
Would it be possible to include a "
download the latest version if it is better even by a minor version" in some place easy to find such as under the preference tab, or under a clearly idendified icon in the preferences (of course provided that it does not exists yet, because I could not find it...)
That would NOT swamp people with useless messages, but would certaily help to upgrade before to report problems...
