Sorry to be a pain David but I could do with a little extra advice.
I successfully copied the image you provided onto an 8gb card.
Still had the issue whereby connecting to Kobo desktop gives the false "Internet issue" failure, so I downloaded and unzipped the last known usable firmware and copied to the .Kobo directory.
When I remove the Mini from my pc, nothing noticeable is happening/updating and I still get the same "internet" issue when connected to Kobo desktop.
Do I need to press the reset button on the back of the mini to get the new firmware to load?
