One of the "medical conditions" to qualify for the Moderna/Pfizer booster is being overweight. Not obese... just overweight. BMI > 25. I've seen several articles that estimate nearly 90% of American adults qualify for a Covid booster under the current guidelines.

According to the CDC themselves, nearly 70% of adults 20 and over are overweight. When you factor in those with high-risk jobs and other medical conditions (plus all J&J recipients), it comes to about 89% of all American adults being eligible.
