The software on the Kobo is so much better than the Kindle’s software. On the Kindle I’m always stuck on a font size that’s either too big or too small, and a font weight that’s too thin or too thick. I can’t set my margins as small as I want, or the line spacing. I can’t see how many pages I’m in the book and in the chapter. I can do all of those on a Kobo.
The lighting is now good enough for me to go for the superior software experience rather than the superior hardware experience.
