Yes, I did have the Oasis 3. And while I liked it I also had some issues with it. I read while sitting at my dining room table a lot and when the Oasis is lying down its not flat because of the shape. And it's either leaning towards the left or the right. My OCD had tough time with that.
I also added a cover like yours (back only) because the back felt cold and the sharpness of the sides hurt my hands. But somehow I never really liked it with or without the cover. I kept putting it on and taking it off. Eventually I gave up and sold it. I've been reading on my PW4 ever since.

Now that Amazon introduced a flat, soft shaped 6.8" Kindle I couldn't wait to see how I would feel about it.

I think I will like the bigger screen in Paperwhite format. 😁
But if I find it too big to hold onto, it's going back. (Have to test it out for a few days).
