I have an AX3000 and I am happy with it. I have a 2 story (+ basement) 2000sf house and it works well throughout the house. I don't think I've had any problems with connections/signal strength. It is located on the second floor, center middle, and the 2 dots in the basement seem to have no connection problems. I also used 2 Echos outside and had no problems. I primarily use 2.4.
