Yesterday was unusually warm, with a high temperature of 76°F and cloudy skies. Last night a line of strong thunderstorms rolled through followed by very heavy rain associated with a Nor'easter. The rain lasted all night and most of today -- and there are still scattered rain storms passing through.
Most of the area still hasn't fully recovered from the flooding we got with the remnants of Ida, so there are more floods, road closures, etc. (Most of our town is subject to flooding, but we live on high ground and are usually soggy but not flooded.)
