Thinking of easy stuff that wouldn't require a big investment or costly redesign, I'd be happy with waterproofing and an oranger frontlight (since they seem to be doing that with the Libra). Maybe update the storage to 16GB or 32. More storage and waterproofing would be easy features to tout in advertisements on a Clara successor.

The 1,200 Carta would be nice too.

I'd also like the screen to be flush instead of recessed, but then that moves into the realm of redesign. If they do redesign, a new CPU would be cool. But Libra didn't get it, so why would the cheaper Clara?

At any rate, I hope Kobo doesn't stop making 6" readers.
