"Got my sage today, but my Kobo pen has not arrived yet.

As I saw others have been able to use Microsoft Surface pens with their Elipsa devices, I am using one I had handy on the Sage and it works great in regular notetaking on Kobo store book files and it also works on the note taking app, but, in my experience thus far, notetaking does not work on any files sideloaded - regardless of epub or kepub formats.

I re-formatted the files via calibre into new epubs and new kepubs, but still could not take notes on any of these files.

Anyone else experiencing this or having success?

Update: Tested with PDF and writing notes on PDF works really well and smooth. I did a factory reset to see if it was the firmware that downloaded at the time I set up the device, but factory reset went back to that firmware (ver 4.29.18730 from 18 Oct) - not back to what was on the device when I received it. When I went to see if I could annotate a sideloaded kepub after this, the following popup came up (I saw this yesterday, but closed it without reading by accident)"

Can someone who has the sage test this?
