If you swap the Author & Title columns, then you could
  • press F2 on the Title,
  • cut the 'by <Author Name>' text with Ctrl+X,
  • tab into Author,
  • paste the 'by <Author Name>' with Ctrl+V,
  • cut the 'by ',
  • press enter.
