My friend has a relatively new Libra from kobo which functions when connected to a charger and from which the battery reads 100% full. But when the charger is removed the libra dies and shuts down. Reconnecting the charger will turn it on again. (Kobo sent a new one and did not ask for the defective one back as we live in the Philippines).

Does anyone had a similar experience and what was the solution? We r guessing it is thr battery but if the battery is dead, how come it is read as full 100%?
