The only way I know of without editing the books is to use one of KoboPatch items: Ignore ePub book CSS and Adobe XPGT stylesheets in the librmsdk.so.1.0.0.yaml file. However this disables all stylesheets so not all that useful unless you really want to toss the baby out with the bathwater.
