That's to be expected given that ReMarkable has been making them for much longer. They SHOULD be delivering a better quality product with the practice they've had.

Of course we have no word yet on whether the Sage is better than the Elipsa in this regard. The fact remains that those interested in note-taking now have a choice - pay a subscription or own the functionality outright. Many will likely choose the latter even if the quality is not quite as good.
