I don't like this move by Remarkable, but there's one thing Liliputing left out of the article. According to their website, if you sign up for and pre-pay a three month Connect subscription ($23.97) that drops the price of the device itself to $299.

Nevermind, I'm the idiot. I didn't finish reading the article!
