Hi,
I've recently installed Plato on my Aura One and I'm very happy with it. The only issue I have is with the backlight feature, in particular with the warmth setting. It doesn't seem to be possible to entirely disable it, and the correlation between how 'warm' the light appears and the settings is not clear.
This is especially noticeable on my unit as the backlight has some ugly green blotches at the bottom when the warm light is enabled. This didn't bother me on Nickel as I would always turn off the 'night light', and I would like to be able to do the same with Plato.
I've tried to describe how the backlight appears with different settings:
- Plato, intensity=5, warmth=0: very dim light, strong tint, almost red
- Plato, intensity=5, warmth=1: very dim light, less strong tint, orange-y
- Plato, intensity=20, warmth=0: dim light, orange tint
- Plato, intensity=20, warmth=1: dim light, yellow tint
- Nickel, intensity=1, warmth=0: dim light (intensity is about the same as plato's 20), uniform white color (or as good as it gets), no tint
On the positive side, I like that the backlight intensity can be set to even lower than with Nickel.
I'd be happy to provide further information to troubleshoot this. I can try to add pictures for the various presets I've described, but it's not easy to take pictures in uniform conditions.
