I've noticed that there are always lots of indie bargains in the psychological thriller/domestic thriller category. A lot of these seem to be books that come from smaller indie publishers and digital-only imprints of bigger publishers such as Bookouture (part of Hachette); Inkubator Books, based in Dublin; or Bloodhound Books (part of Open Road Media).
They'll have titles like "The Promotion" or "The Husband." And a simple but effective cover, like a single flower on a floor, a closed door, or the front of a house. And I'll end up buying six indie books instead of one major release that I
really wanted.
But maybe that's not such a bad idea. These books often get great reviews. The issue is that there are a lot to choose from! Can someone recommend books among this plethora of psychological thrillers and domestic suspense books?
