Thing is, I LOVE my Libra H20. The asymmetrical design is great and easy to hold. Text pops off the screen compared to my old fuzzy, contrast-free 1st gen Paperwhite (or I guess 5th gen Kindle Paperwhite).

My initial reaction was to return it and wait for the Libra 2, then I learned the new device is significantly heavier - 215g vs 192g. So, even heavier than my Kindle (213g). The decreased weight of the Libra H20 is noticeable, and appreciated. I don't want to go back to a heavier ereader. And some of you folks are saying it'll be thicker too - I'm infatuated with the Libra H20's form factor.

I have until the 28th to return it, but I don't think I'm going to. The new Libra is heavier and otherwise doesn't seem like that big a refresh. I don't need audiobook capability - I use my phone. USB-C, yeah it'd be nice, but it's not that big a deal given the infrequency of needing to charge it. Memory - eh, current memory is fine. I don't see much use in having much more than 12-15 books on the device at a time. Plus, it's $10 more. The Libra H20's page turn buttons are perhaps less than perfect aesthetically, but they're just fine.

Am I missing some key factor here? Will the new Carta 1200 screen be that much quicker in page turns and contrast in real world use? I'm torn, but I've already formed a bit of an emotional attachment to my current Libra...
I would not get a new Libra if the old one still works perfectly. Moreover, while the Sage has a newer and supposedly faster processor, the new Libra doesn't. So you'd trade the weight and ergonomics for a possibly slightly better screen (and that's not yet certain). Now if you wanted a larger screen, the Sage might be an option. But if 7'' is optimal for you, stick with your Libra.
