Hi! I am hacking my broken Kobo Aura 2nd edition which has a broken screen. I see there is a flat cable of some kind, what alternatives instead of buying the pricey ED060XH8-replacementscreen do I have?

I'm thinking of any screen now and building/using this for something else than e-books. Maybe art-installation or smthng.
