But that's irrelevant how slippery the Oasis when hot because when you have a case that doesn't matter. Also, it doesn't matter if it's metal or plastic with the case.

Personally, I find Readers nicer to hold when they are in a case. I've been using a Reader since I got the Sony Reader PRS-500 in late 2006/early 2007 (not exactly sure when I got it). That's about 14/15 years. So I'm talking from experience.

The battery case of the Oasis 1 was disaster. It made the Oasis really heavy and clunky and not at all nice to hold.
