Also: What exactly is happening if I use Kobo Utilities to set the font on a book that's a PDF?

I was bulk-adding some font settings in advance (I found it the best way to prevent weird font settings carrying over from other books) and I know there were a few PDFs mixed in to those. The numbers matched up so it didn't just skip over those. But the font setting doesn't have any effect on PDF files.
