I submitted a new version. What I did yesterday didn't work if you tabbed through expanded children of a node.

Regarding the issue we discussed at this post. I'll respond here because it has nothing to do with the AC plug and socket.

If anything metadata editing in the book list is a tad slower, but not enough to bother me.

I noticed if I tab through Tags and Publisher without changing them the Modified date doesn't change and the opf in the book folder isn't re-written,

However if I tab through Published without changing it, the Modified date changes to Now and the opf in the book folder is re-written. Same thing on a couple of custom columns:
I think this is an artifact of the editing widget. For me it doesn't always happen. The check is done before writing the field. If the widget includes spaces or changes milliseconds etc that are later stripped then the check will think (correctly) that the data is different. Checking the values after being processed by the database is more than I want to do. It would be terrible for performance.

Another book list editing issue. If I have a long text HTML column in the book list (I cloak them with column icons), when I tab into it in edit mode the dialogue to change the text pops. I'm open to suggestions to prevent that, e.g. if you tab into a long text HTML cell in edit mode, you'll jump out of edit mode and you'll have to press F2 if you want to edit the cell.

Uhhh, use F2 and return instead of tabbing while in edit mode?

Trying to detect the difference between entering edit mode by tabbing into a field vs hitting F2 in the field is a can of worms I don't want to open.
