Not specifically about the SHUMS, but more about those damned teenagers who seem to have lost the concept of earbuds to listen to their music and appreciate it with a correct sound quality ...
I found a specific power from Mutant X (or as my wife and I call it Mutton X) to be very interesting in its possibilities :
density control
Which means being able to be super-dense (with a completely functional brain) and withstand gunshots and stabs without any problem or being able to pass through walls at will.
Other than that, teleportation and telepathy are cool.
