Use the Tag Browser 'Find next match' shortcut to set the focus to the tag browser search box, and the 'Find in the Tag browser' shortcut to find the next match if you haven't set the "Find shows all items that match" option in Preferences / Look & feel / Tag browser.
And yes, somehow the labels got interchanged. I will look at fixing that. I must work out how to change the labels without changing the meaning of the associated shortcuts. I don't want to break it in case anyone else has worked this out.
