There isn't much to choose between 6.8" and 7". However even the slightly lower resolution 6.8" original Kobo Aura H2O is better than a 6" PW3 or PW4. Admittedly the IR based highlighting needs a larger font to be reliable. But that extra 0.8" makes a big difference.
The 7" and 7.8" are closest to a pocket-book/mass-market paperback. The 6" is way poorer and the Basic 167 dpi 6" was only good when there was nothing better!
