Interesting, thanks for testing. I did wonder if it was my probably very old version of Internet Explorer that was the issue... Although the message I'm getting is : "A problem occurred - please enter a valid email or phone number" (translated from French).

that's odd: the version of Kindle for PC I originally got from the Amazon website
did work, I had not issues logging on then! So I don't know...
"Username's Kindle Cloud Reader" still shows in my Amazon account. Would deregistering that help?
