I suggest a #subtitle custom column
Besides using as it is named, I put 'AKA Other Title'
Or if you want to keep those apart. Make an #alt_title column
Unfortunately neither way has the ability to be configured in
Preferences: Searching: Similar book (a tab)
FWIW if you put the alternate inside ( ) in the
{title}, It does not affect
{title_sort}
