I'm trying to set up my new Sony reader, and I have this odd feeling I'm going to have a bunch of library programs dueling for control. The Sony Library wants to run the show, of course. Calibre, as I understand it, is a more useful and sensible program. And I've also downloaded a DRM ePub book from Adobe Digital Editions, which will not allow me to copy it.

Is there a way to make sure Calibre wins, and use it as my only ebook library? Or will I be doomed to having to remember which book is controlled by which piece of software?
