What would your kobo-bought but still sideloaded books do?
Frankly I have no idea. I've never logged out of my Kobo account in the two years I've had the Libra. And I've never logged out of my Kindle account in the 10 years I've used Kindles (except when I sold a Kindle I no longer used). I did sign out of my B&N account on my Nook once, which reset the Nook to the factory settings, i.e. deleted all books on the device (that's what I expected it to do after some googling. I wanted to reload everything from scratch).

I use Calibre to "shelve" my books automatically on the Kobo, so losing collections would not be that much of an issue for me.

Edit: I suspect that my Kobo-bought sideloaded books would be treated as sideloaded. But I cannot vouch for it, having never tried to log out.
