I'm wondering if there's a way how to bypass the battery? My Boox Max 2 battery has died and I'm thinking that even in the monitor mode with USB cable plugged in, the battery is being 'used' and thus it's lifetime is reduced. Thus, if the device is supposed to be used only as a monitor, why using the battery at all?
