Save To Templates are mostly for older reader that do not have a 'bookshelf' app built in that uses internal metadata.
The Metadata Plugboard is the way to fudge into standard metadata (sent to device), that would not normally be supported.
eg {series_index}-{title} -> Title (= 02 - mystery_title)
