@prom king - PDF->(Word) DOCX->(Calibre) EPUB preserves HTML URL Links for me.

Did you try tweaking the Line un-wrapping factor as suggested in the manual. There's a link to it in the first para of the sticky I posted.

There are numerous threads about converting PDFs to EPUB in the Workshop.

And there are addins for Word (notably ePubTools and TransTools) and plugins for ePub Editors (especially Sigil) that target the vagaries of converting PDF to EPUB.
