Not that I wish it on her but when your wife develops arthritis, she will likely choose to move to an ereader. That was the development point for both my late sister and Mom even though they preferred paper. For my other sister, it's a space issue. My new BIL is a voracious reader but prefers his phone over an ereader. As he moves all his stuff from his former home to their home, he is looking at selling/donating most of his books as they don't fit so well in a little house.
