The Maidens pretty close together and they have a similar vibe. I think I'd give a slight edge to
The Maidens.

YA seems to be the natural category unless the POV character is an adult. I never knew there was a dark academia genre, and I'm still rather hazy about the parameters, but I do like suspense novels with school settings.

I enjoyed that one; I don't know how well it fits but it's quite good.
