I can't speak for anyone else, but Coolreader has very nice facilities for selecting touch zones (I use the bottom two-third of the page to advance the text. It works very well regardless of which hand I'm using.)
When I tried KOReader a year or so ago, it seemed to be possible to accomplish the same thing but I could not figure out how. I gave up.
