I understand the internal storage part but without the slightest intention to be offensive, I'd like to ask why is more RAM necessary? Is there any program which you couldn't run on the Nova 3 right now? Games, which are the main culprit of the artificially generated requirement bumps in the phone market, are not even relevant in the e-reader market. Large .pdf files? I've never seen anything over 200MB.

Of course, the illusion of progress is nice on paper but all the e-reader manufacturers could just optimize their software for waaaay more effect than just slap more RAM in it and call it a day.
