Somehow, this feels so unfair. Why can't it depend on the copyright limitation of the
COUNTRY that the IP address belongs to? Dang it!!?? If they can detect the requester's IP, they are capable of applying a filter --- they must just choose not to.

I work on a US military base in Japan, and the IP address is Japanese --- but, go figure, Japanese copyright is Life+50.

I can only hope for the possibility of international book-making
collaborations in the MobileRead team.
