Another anthology of short fiction in the Life + 70 public domain, gathered from magazines and newspapers. Robert Reeves with a couple of "Cellini Smith" stories plus one other; a Dickens short story in which he spoofs is own "A Christmas Carol"; a Hugh Pendexter tale of the then frontier at the time of the American War of Independence. The last story, a novelette, is by Charles Beadle, an American author who moved to France in 1920, and was there when the Germans occupied. One source suggests a death date of 1944.
