You have a couple of choices:

* Either temporarily toggle the stop setting.
* Temporarily kill & restart the whole thing.

Doing the first part (i.e., disabling nanoclock) is fairly easy via NM no matter which way you do it. But you won't be able to automate the re-enabling part
