I have that one, but have not yet read it. I plan to, since I think he's tackling some of the horrors from my favorite horror writer:
William Hope Hodgson. (The one you mention may be schlocky, but it sounds like an intestinally juicy read.
)
Peabodie, on the other hand, sounds remarkably like Lovevraft or Derleth.
Meikle, as you know, explores different aspects within horror.
