This is typically related to OpenGL driver issues. You might try updating your video driver.

Other things that have been reported to help when this error happens is to try switching your graphics card to 16 bit colour back to 24 or 32 bit colour. It seems to be generated when more than 13 tabs are open according to some bug reports. It has been officially reportedit as a Qt bugwho then closed it as out of scope since it appears to be a video driver issue and not something they control.

Most people seem to be able to dismiss the error dialog and continue with no adverse effects.
