Neither of my two best friends would ever watch this, as it is partly spoken english and partly Icelandic, with english subtitles. Pity because they will miss what I consider one of the best shows for years, just because they 'don't like sub-titles'!
Subtitles are normal in the Netherlands. Only kids' shows are dubbed. I have a lot of series on my Netflix list that aren't in English or Dutch. I usually do something when watching series, such as cross stitching or diamond painting. Activities that keep my hands busy but not my mind too much. I can follow tv series and movies as long as I don't have to read subtitles. I used to watch those series when cycling on the stationary bike, but the weather is good, so I now cycle outside on my regular bike.

I've put Katla on my list, it sounds like something I would like. Thanks for the recommendation.
