I made a post awhile back referring to having low frames in calibre and I have somewhat solved the issue. It turns out that having G-SYNC enabled on the calibre program for some reason gave extremely low frame rates in the app. I was running about 15 frames in the app and it was extremely choppy. I tried adjusting settings for everything but didn't think G-Sync would have been the problem till today. So if you have a G-Sync compatible monitor I wouldn't enable while using the program.
