The sky was a hazy shade of orange for most of the day. We had this happen last year, too. Smoke from the fires out west -- up to 2000 miles away -- has reached the upper atmosphere and drifted out here. Our air quality has also taken a hit.
We might get a break Wednesday afternoon -- strong rainstorms are expected.
