My PC displays a message that the device can be safely disconnected, but the Clara is still working to process the files. Watch the Clara's home screen. It will be dark when connected to the PC, then briefly return to normal, then dark again while it displays a progress bar while importing, then finally return to the normal home screen. ONLY then should you physically unplug the device.
