Thanks. Well all I know is that Calibre has been reading the "Library" for years, maybe 8 or 9 now. And yes you are correct in the Tag column there is the word Fiction (for eg) but in my set up all books with the same tag are grouped into what I have called Folders. So that when using Calibre and I want to change the grouping that I am working in from (say) Fiction to Non Fiction I Quickswitch to change the books I see.
I should add that I did not set this up. A Calibre long time user did it for me so I don't really understand.
